| Between 1898 and 1914, all 8 of my great grandparents emigrated from towns in the Province of Agrigento, Sicily to Ybor City, the Latin Quarter of Tampa, Florida, USA. The lineage includes the Pardo, Marchetta, Cacciatore and Scaglione families from Alessandria della Rocca, the Lo Cicero family from Santo Stefano Quisquina, the Diecidue and Arcuri families from Cianciana and the Gullo family from Cammarata.
This website is dedicated to that family history, and to the culture and traditions that they and other Sicilian immigrants brought to America. |
